Since the outset of the pandemic, Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection,” the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the American Journal of Medicine and subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has 56 peer-reviewed publications on the infection and has extensively commented on the medical response to the COVID-19 crisis in TheHill, America Out Loud, and on FOX NEWS Channel.
Dr. McCollough has testified before multiple senate committees on the pandemic response. On January 24, 2022, Dr. McCullough co-moderated and testified in the US Senate Panel “COVID-19: A Second Opinion” chaired by Senator Ron Johnson. Dr. McCullough has reviewed thousands of reports, participated in scientific congresses, group discussions, and press releases, and is considered among the world’s top experts on COVID-19
He graduated from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies, in 2002 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He completed his residency and fellowship training in critical care and pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Kory is the former Chief of Critical Care Service and Medical Director of the Trauma and Life Support Center at the University of Wisconsin. He is a Board-Certified Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Internal Medicine Specialist.
He helped pioneer the development and teaching of Critical Care Ultrasonography. Dr. Kory and his two co-editors won the British Medical Association's 2015 President’s Choice award in medical textbooks for their work on Point of Care Ultrasound. The 2nd edition of this book has now been published in 7 languages.
Dr. Kory has received national recognition for his groundbreaking research and application of therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest and intravenous ascorbic acid in treating severe infections and septic shock.
He is also a well-known master educator. He’s received many teaching awards throughout his career at the multiple institutions where he has served as faculty.

Phil has also worked with performers at the highest level, including Premiership footballers, European Tour golfers, and the British Olympic medical team, and was the performance psychologist for Ed Stafford’s successful Guinness World Record attempt to walk the Amazon. He graduated as an osteopath in 1988 and was awarded a Ph.D. in the Psychology of Health for his research into a new approach to addictions and substance use. He is the principal of the Phil Parker Training Institute and is a researcher and lecturer in Coaching and in Drugs Counselling at London Metropolitan University. He has published a number of peer-reviewed papers and five books on mind-body connection and health, which have been translated into a range of languages.
In 2014 he began agitating for better workplace conditions and patient safety. He become a union organizer, shop steward, and then Executive Board Member on the state level for the Public Employee Federation (PEF) of New York State employees. He worked at the bedside in a Level 1 trauma center from 2016-2021, attending to patients throughout the pandemic.
